We are so excited for our April 2021 Serve Project! Here are 3 ways YOU can help:
1. We need to collect and fill 40 Easter baskets. Each Easter basket should cost around $15 and each basket should include some (not all) of the following: candy, chips, a book, art supplies, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a kite, a small toy, and socks. You can purchase and fill an Easter basket and coordinate drop-off or pick-up through Kim Baligian or you can donate $15 for a basket and our team of volunteers will do the rest. Email Kim@servethecitydetroit.com if you’re interested in supporting this project financially.
2. We need to fill and collect 380 small bags of individually wrapped peanut free snack size candy for the students at Burns Elementary-Middle School and volunteers to help put the candy bags together and deliver to the students. If you’re interested in donating candy and/or volunteering to help safely package and deliver them please email kim@servethecitydetroit.com
3. We are in need of 4-5 volunteers to help deliver the Easter baskets to the neighborhood kids connected to JJ’s house (time and date TBD). Email kim@servethecitydetroit.com to sign-up!
